1969-1974 ISO Lele specifications

1969-1974 ISO Lele specifications Classic and Performance Car

Iso believed in platform sharing so it’s understandable that the underpinnings used for the Grifo and Fidia were also put to good use when concocting a replacement for the Rivolta. Unlike the original car the Lele failed to impress buyers who were turned off by the clumsy Gandini styled coupé. Given that the 1973 oil crisis killed supercar sales stone dead, struggling Iso didn’t have enough in the cupboard to ride the storm – disappearing from view in 1974. The last few Leles were powered by a Ford V8 and offered with automatic transmission.
