Continuing the Iso formula, the Grifo was another appealing ‘bitza’ that transcended the sum of its parts to become something of a supercar pacesetter. The Corvette power unit was good for 300bhp and gave the sleek Bertone bodied grand tourer a 150mph plus top speed with acceleration to match. Considered very much a rich playboy’s supercar, the Grifo had the handling and poise to cut it against Ferrari, Maserati and Lamborghini’s finest. Survival rate is reasonably good, although you’ll struggle to find an unrestored car.
