1948-1957 HUMBER Super Snipe/Pullman II-IV specifications

1948-1957 HUMBER Super Snipe/Pullman II-IV specifications Classic and Performance Car

A curious blend of the old style Super Snipes/Pullmans and the freshly-redesigned Hawks. The cabin and rear end weren’t touched, but the front was given a Raymond Loewy makeover, with headlamps now incorporated with the wings. And running boards, which had been dropped in 1940, enjoyed a surprise revival. Dropheads offered until 1950, and these can fetch up to double the quoted prices. Subtle improvements continued through until 1952 and the MkIV model, which finally adopted the complete Hawk body style.
