An amazingly well preserved, one-off 1927 Hispano Suiza. This T49 ("27HP") was ordered new by British hero Colonel Guy Geddes, bodied in the UK by H.J. Mulliner as a light and sporty saloon with Weymann-type construction. Colonel Geddes kept the car until his death in 1954. Then other two long-term British ownerships, with a careful regular maintenance, since 2015 when the car left the U.K. for the first time in almost 90 years. A second prize in the "Pre-War Preservation Class" at the Pebble Beach Concours d'Elegance 2015 then the prestigious "FIVA award for the Best Preserved Car" at Villa d'Este Concorso di Eleganza 2017, proved everywhere she goes she impresses specialists, connoisseurs and enthusiasts. In excellent driving condition, it starts anytime on the button, the engine turns as a Swiss clock, easy to drive and with good handling. Her first drive out of Great Britain was the Tour d'Elegance 2015 as part of Pebble Beach event: faultless and reliable, it performed like a much more modern car. The original old "buff" log and the original owners manual come with the car, together with a letter (dated 1955!) by Hispano Suiza specialist George Briand attesting the car was "in original condition and well kept".
