In 1963, the Minx received a facelift to make it look less 1950s. Although the changes weren’t that sweeping, they did succeed in making it look more like a car from the decade it lived in. The rear fins were greatly reduced, the roof was flattened, the rear wraparound window replaced and a new windscreen and grille were added. From today’s viewpoint it was a less handsome vehicle but, back then, something needed to be done to boost the ageing Minx’s appeal. The 1965 Series VI injected a bit more temptation with its 1725cc.
