We are delighted to bring to market this stunning 1962 Triumph TR3A with Overdrive matching numbers. This TR3A was imported into the UK some 4 years ago as a dry state US car, at that time the car was restored and converted to RHD, the engine was rebuilt to 2.0 spec with the addition of an unleaded head, there are a number of invoices in the cars history file confirming these works. Owned for the last few years by a titled owner the car is now well patinated and settled after the works. The car has a good hood, tonneau and side screens. On the road she drives well with engine being more torquey that normal with the overdrive clicking in and out smoothly. She is fitted with a nice set of chrome wire wheels and the brakes pull up straight and well.;The TR has received some minor re-commissioning from us mainly consisting of a full body machine polish. We will also be selling the car fully serviced and with a rebuilt up-rated radiator and new MOT. Although a converted car she is a sound car and offers exceptional value for money at the price offered.
This is a 1 owner 1971 Triumph TR6 150hp with overdrive and only 65000 miles from new, matching numbers. The car was originally delivered to the owner new in Singapore to UK spec. The TR spent it's early life in Singapore being only used sparingly at weekends and special occasions. In December 1987 the car was repatriated when the owner moved back to the UK. Once again the car was used occasionally at the weekends and always in the dry. The car was stored in a heated garage. As the owner got older the car was used less and less until his demise in 2016. We purchased the car from his widow and although in outstanding structural condition it was clear that the car needed 'refreshing' and re-commissioning. ;We stripped the car down, removing the engine and gearbox and stripping the interior basically to a bare shell. On inspection it was clear that the TR6 had all it's original panels and had never been welded and there was no rust present. We re-finished the paintwork and serviced the engine, we replaced the clutch and flywheel which were balanced together with the balanced prop-shaft, which was fitted with new UJ's, we also replaced the brakes completely, fitted a new up-rated radiator and replaced various items under the bonnet, a new battery was fitted . We also serviced the engine and renewed the fuel lines. The TR also has its original factory hard top.;The interior of he car was re-fitted using the original seats and belts with renewal of the carpets only being necessary due to sun damage. The hood is original and in good condition as is the tonneau cover and hood envelope. We also fitted a new set of chrome wire wheels and tyres. We have a photographic record of this work which will be passed on to the new owner.;The end result is a TR6 that is both stunning to look at and in condition. The car drives extremely well with the overdrive working smoothly. This we believe is the only 1 owner Triumph TR6 to come to market in recent times, accordingly the car is not cheap, particularly with the level of work that we have undertaken and the cars excellent provenance. The Triumph will be sold with a new MOT. ;The car represents a blue chip investment for the discerning collector and must be the best TR6 available in the market today.
This Jaguar XJ8 is virtually one owner from new and has only covered 41705 miles from new with a full and complete Jaguar main dealer service history stamped in the service book. As would be expected the car is 'as new' and has been used sparingly at the weekends by the owner, the car has been garaged all its life. Very rare in this condition and mileage and a one off opportunity to buy a stunning car. We will sell the car with 3 months parts and labour guarantee, the car has been MOT'd for a year and will be serviced prior to sale which is time not mileage due.
This Diesel CLK automatic is finished in a nice shade of champagne silver which is complemented by with black leather trim which is in great condition. The car has had 2 owners and of course has a fully stamped up service book with the last service having been carried out in the last 1000 miles. The car is MOT'd until November 2017. On the road the car drives very with everything working as it should. We will also sell the car with a 3 months parts and labour guarantee included in the price. Overall this car offers exceptional value and they are rare in this condition with this history.
This Ford Cortina MK1 1500 GT 2 Door has been the subject of a total restoration with a comprehensive history file of the work carried out including photos. The engine was also subject to a rebuild to 'fast road' specification. The end result is a truly superb vehicle that is not only attractive but is extremely rare these days. The numbers confirm that this car is an original GT and is not one of the many 'clones' that are around. On the road the GT drives extremely well with performance best described as 'crisp'. The interior is superb to match the flawless paintwork. The car sits on rims that were usually fitted to the Lotus Cortina but set the car off well. These cars are rare now particularly in this condition, it would be hard to find and restore a car to this level for the asking price (if you can find one), as such it does offer excellent value and would be an asset to any private collection.
