Cashing in on the classic car boom in Japan during the 1990s, Nissan sold a series of retro-styled cars in Japan. The BE-1 and S-Cargo were interesting, but it’s the Figaro that is the best known in the UK, with floods being imported privately. It’s particularly popular with city dwellers, who appreciate its ease of driving. Although it looks pure 1960s, ultra-reliable Micra mechanicals underpin this clever little cabriolet, and most are fitted with automatic transmission.
