How Ford must curse the day Jeremy Clarkson called this car "A wide mouth frog" because putting aside its looks (and to be fair they are not good) it is the best Granada derived car Ford ever made.Ford desided to drop the 'Granada' badge and call this the 'Scorpio' although it does share a lot of parts with the previous model it is a totally different animal. This one has the fuel efficient 2.3 litre 4 cylinder 16 valve twin cam engine and is the full ‘Ultima’ spec including:- Full quality leather interior, air conditioning, CD player power windows front and rear. PAS, smooth automatic gearbox, alloy wheels, full size spare, electric seats, memory seats, heated seats, electric mirrors, rear lumber support, air conditioning I'm sure there is more but you get the point. The colour of Ford aubergine suits the car it's dark yet has more character than black. The body work has been subjected to a £2,000.00 restoration including new front and rear arches so the car now looks fantastic. The black leather interior is in mint condition as are the carpets and door cards. The tinted glass is in good condition all round and the car drives like a car many miles its junior.
