1966-1970 FORD Lotus Cortina Mk II specifications

Comes with slightly more power than the MkI, but to some extent the moment had passed and they were quickly overshadowed by the Escort Twin Cam that was launched the following year. They weren’t as successful in competition as the MkI Lotus Cortinas and were built in higher numbers, so values fall well shy of their predecessors, and will remain that way. Still a handy tool, even if 109.5bhp doesn’t feel as fast as it used to. Beware of fakes as rust and the unscrupulous means more than a few have been created from Cortina GT bodyshells over the years.
