Built at the Dallas assembly plant, this car features one repaint in the factory-correct color combination that says “sleeper” in the NASCAR/Moonshiner tradition. Like any self-respecting “sleeper” this one boasts V/8 power, in this case Ford’s Y-block 272 CI. engine. It also combines low-key two-tone Woodsmoke Gray and Colonial White paint with matching deep-dish wheels, small diameter hub caps and black wall tires to business-like effect while including tinted glass, dual chromed outside mirrors, chromed front and rear bumper extensions, a front V-bar and dual chromed exhaust tips. Inside the Woodsmoke Chain grain vinyl and Gray interior, Ford’s Lifeguard safety package gives this car a padded dash, recessed steering wheel hub and controls and other safety measures. Additionally, it incorporates factory-style air conditioning, Master Guide power steering, and a push button radio and in-dash clock.
