1974-1977 Ford Capri Mk2 specifications

1974-1977 Ford Capri Mk2 specifications Classic and Performance Car

The Mk2 Ford Capri is currently the bargain of the range.

Falling sales caused Ford to have a rethink for the Mk2 Capri, launched in 1974. Some of the primitive raucousness of the original was taken away and replaced with more sophisticated practicality, and a hatchback instead of a boot. The body was also smoothed out, although not enough to make the car particularly aerodynamic. Still, it was better to drive than the original Capri, with a more civilised interior too. Currently less valuable than the Mk1 and Mk3, making this the thinking man's Capri – 3000S and Midnight Special are the ones to have. Pay almost double for the 3000 model.
