1965-1973 FIAT 850 Spider specifications

1965-1973 FIAT 850 Spider specifications Classic and Performance Car

A small, pretty and nippy but rust-prone roadster. We could be talking about a Midget, but this is an Italian job with styling beautifully executed by Bertone that includes a hood that neatly stows away beneath the rear deck. As with all the 850 range it’s rear-engined, initially with 843cc, but receiving the more powerful and just as rev-happy 903cc unit in 1968. At the same time the original sloping headlamps were replaced by more efficient upright units. Most 850s went to America and once again none were built with right-hand-drive.
