1969-1976 FIAT 130 Saloon specifications

1969-1976 FIAT 130 Saloon specifications Classic and Performance Car

Fiat had no history of building big saloon cars before they surprised everyone with the technologically advanced, Mercedes-baiting, 130 so the world was bound to treat it with caution. But what a car. The styling may lack flair, but underneath we find full independent suspension, passive rear-steering and four disc brakes. Not bad for 1969. Capacity of the quad-cam V6 went up from 2.8 litres to 3.2 in 1971, and UK imports started in ’72. Worth seeking out. After all, do you need any greater recommendation than the fact that Enzo Ferrari drove one daily?
