One of the world’s most prestigious automotive events, Salon Privé celebrated its tenth anniversary in style by moving to a magnificent new location for 2015: Blenheim Palace in Oxfordshire.
Combining the latest supercars, hypercars and concepts with a carefully curated Concours d’Elégance featuring the rarest and most valuable classic cars and motorcycles, Salon Privé was billed as a relaxing, sophisticated, garden party-style gathering. And for the first time ever, this year the event was opened up to even more enthusiasts thanks to Saturday’s new public day.
Further attractions include the Tour d’Elégance parades, Luxury Brands Village, Ladies’ Day, Art Fair, Salon Privé Sale auction and the very finest hospitality. Saturday hosted a new Prestige & Performance supercar competition, in which 100 post-1975 supercars and sports cars were displayed in all their glory in the Great Court.
Here are some of the highlights from the event:
This Jaguar XK120 'Jabbeke' prepared by JD Classics took the Best of Show award
Modern supercars play a big part in the show, with cars like this Pagani Huayra attracting huge attention...
James Bond's next car, the DB10, was another star of the modern car show
More modern exotics from the 1980s and 1990s were a big draw for the crowds this year
