The Ferrari 612 Scaglietti was the first Ferrari Grand Tourer with the ability to Seat four adults in comfort. The design, especially the large side scallops and headlights, pay homage to the custom 1954 Ferrari 375 MM. The 612 was produced at Ferrari's Carrozzeria Scaglietti plant, the former home of the car's namesake coachbuilder in Modena Italy and was the second current generation Ferrari to be all aluminium. The engine was a newly developed version of the Ferrari 575M Maranello. Its 4.7 litre V12 configuration is capable of 196 mph and a 0–60 mph acceleration times of just 4.3 seconds.
In 2008 Ferrari revised the 612 and launched the second generation and also offered a 612 “One to One.” One to One signified Ferrari’s special purchase program where a purchaser could fly to the factory in Italy and special order his car to his exact specification with the personal assistance via Ferrari’s Atelier program. The One to One cars also featured Ferrari’s revised dual plate clutch superfast transmission which would be seen 2 years later in the 599, Electrochromic roof, Steering wheel Mannetino, 20” Challenge wheels, Sports exhaust, Carbon Ceramic brakes and the HGT2 package an option
