CarFest North and CarFest South charity car events, founded by Chris Evans, return for 2016 in aid of Children in Need
You can’t say that CarFest isn’t what it says on the tin. The two-location car festival, created by Chris Evans, is back again this summer with stunt cars, a historic attraction and a huge array of performance cars.
And now its final tickets will go on sale for CarFest South (26-28 August) at Laverstoke Park, Hampshire and CarFest North (29-31 July) at Bolesworth Castle in Cheshire.

The event - fulfilling its promise to be all things family - also offers cooking demonstrations and dance workshops. Even Bryan Adams, The Corrs, Will Young and Squeeze will be performing on stage as part of the festival.
But of course, the thrust of the show is its four-wheeled attractions. These include the ‘Time Tunnel’, which takes festival-goers on an evolutionary journey of motoring history and appearances from two NASCAR Sprint Cup race stars.
There will also be the ‘Xtreme’ track showcase, which will involve dramatic displays by the Red bull Racing Formula One Team, the Top Gear Live Stunt Team and bafflingly-quick laps by the infamous Stig.
Other highlights include James Martin and his new Porsche 911 GT3 and the 2015 Pikes Peak prepped Jaguar F-type. Added to that, Chris Evans will be bringing his own Famous Five vehicles. The second ‘Xtreme’ phase of track action will step up the pace with dramatic displays by the Red Bull Racing Formula One team, the Top Gear Live Stunt Team plus eye-catching power laps by The Stig. Expect plenty of crowd-pleasing donuts, burning rubber and flame spitting engines. As much as 25 per cent of each ticket will be donated the BBC’s Children in Need charity. To date, throughout its eight dates over the past four years, the festival has raised £6.7m for the charity.
CarFest is the brainchild of TV personality and new Top Gear host Chris Evans. Tickets for CarFest are available at bbc.co.uk/Pudsey
