Jay Kay's one-off 1963 Ferrari 330 GT Vignale Shooting Brake has gone up for sale.
The 1965 Ferrari 330 GT Vignale Shooting Brake belonging to pop-star Jay Kay, has gone up for sale.
The car is the only one of its kind, and is expected to fetch up to £750,000 via Ferrari specialists DK Engineering. Take a look at the original advert here.
Jay Kay, the front-man in pop-band Jamiroquai, is rumoured to be reducing his current 90-car collection, which includes an Aston Martin DB7 convertible, a Mercedes-Benz 300SL Roadster, and a black Ferrari Enzo.
The 330 GT is the only example of the collaboration between Luigi Chinetti Jr, son of the famous East Coast Ferrari racer and importer, and the Turin-based Coachbuilders ‘Vignale’. The car was the last to be fettled by its owner Fedo Vignale, who fitted the shooting brake bodywork before his death in 1969.
The car remained within the Chinetti family until 2006, when it was sold by Bonhams to Jay Kay, who has maintained the vehicle in concours-condition ever since.
Only the original Gold roof sections have been repainted since Jay Kay acquired the car nine years ago.
