Ferrari’s F430 Spider is perhaps the company’s ultimate useable convertible. It offers just as much excitement and agility as the Berlinetta, but with the added bonus of being exposed to the howl of its 483bhp mid-mounted 4.3-litre V8. The performance is simply breaktaking, with acceleration from zero to 60 mph in less than four seconds and a maximum speed in excess of 195 mph. Ferrari’s F1 gearbox, as fitted to this example, was upgraded in the F430 with cutting-edge software to allow gear changes taking just 150 milliseconds per shift. Contemporary road tests by the motoring media remarked that the drop-top lost nothing to the closed car in terms of performance, so it is arguably the more desirable model. The F430 came with adjustable suspension as standard, which - along with the electronic differential and transmission settings - is controlled by the steering wheel-mounted Manettino switch. This F430 Spider is presented in the unusual and striking combination of Grigio Silverstone with sumptuous, Bordeaux hide seats that have the highly desirable Daytona inserts. The electrically-powered convertible top is black, and the stunning bright red plenum chambers are showcased through the glass window on top of the engine bay. Scuderia Ferrari wing shields, yellow brake callipers and 20” Monolithic alloy rims complete the exterior look of this F430 Spider. Cabin equipment includes climate control, electric windows and door mirrors, Ferrari stereo, yellow rev counter and push-button start. The original factory tool kit, complete book pouch accompany this Ferrari F430 Spider. The 430 Scuderia continued Ferrari successes with their 360 Challenge Stradale race styled road cars assisted by Michael Schumacher, shaving 100kg from the standard 430 and boasting a top speed of 198mph. Fitted with Carbon ceramic brakes, extensively proven on Ferraris own test track alongside the Bosch system pumping through Brembo calipers. The weight is saved with the abundant use of carbon, allowing the V8 to deliver its 510bhp through updated Superfast2 paddleshift transmission. We are delighted to offer this fabulous example in Factory Nero with Grigio factory stripes, fresh from a recent service and overhauled brake calipers. The sound this car makes is pure Schumacher, high level exhausts at the rear and steering wheel setting controls complete the F1 style. The stripped out cabin denotes this is a special car. Originally purchased in Belgium, first registered in UK in 2005 after Graypaul Ferrari serviced and corrected to UK requirements including changing the headlight units (original headlight units with the car). Stunning from every angle, acoustics to match and an absolute joy to drive. Registration available by separate negotiation.
