German auction house sells 1977 Ferrari 308 GTB for €105,230, with other classics posting good results
Berlin-based online auction house Auctionata sold 27 of 39 cars offered at its third collector car auction, with the remaining vehicles still undergoing negotiation. The standout result from the sale was a clean steel-bodied 1977 Ferrari 308 GTB, which sold above estimate for €105,230.
Perhaps due to the interest surrounding the Citroen DS’s 60th anniversary this year, a nice example of the basic ID model sold for €25,704, smashing its €18,000 estimate. Another pair of French offerings, an Alpine A110 and beautiful A310 V6, sold for below estimates at €68,090 and €23,522 respectively.
Another auction highlight was the 1957 Mercedes-Benz 220 S Cabriolet which made a final bid of €100,283, above the estimate of €90,000. The auction also saw a number of 1980s and 1990s classics reach good prices, like the 1992 Alfa Romeo Spider (€11,761), 22,000 km BMW Z1 (€49,520), Alfa Romeo 75 V6 (€7428) as well as a Porsche 968 (€21,046).
Auctionata’s next sale will take place on 30 May, focusing on American classics of the 1950 and ‘60s.
