The 599 GTB Fiorano was, until the F12 was launched recently, Ferraris two-seat flagship, and was the successor to the 575M Maranello having replaced it in 2006. The 599 is, of course, a spiritual successor to the legendary 250 GT, 275 GTB and Daytona. With an Enzo-derived 5999cc V12 shoehorned into a latest generation all-alloy chassis, the 620bhp standard GTB was Ferrari's most powerful V12 production car ever. The 599, as with many previous Ferraris takes its name from its engine displacement of the V12, the "GTB" stands for Gran Turismo Berlinetta and it was styled by Pininfarina under the direction of Ferrari's Frank Stephenson. During production an upgrade package was released named the "HGTE handling package", this consisting of stiffer front and rear suspension, a stiffer rear anti-roll bar, a faster gear change thanks to gearbox upgrades, lightweight 5 spoke wheels reducing un-sprung weight by 5kg, ceramic brake discs and an upgraded exhaust system. This LHD example HGTE delivered to its first private owner on 1st January 2010. Supplied in the stunning combination of Nero Daytona over a Nero Hide. The interior benefits from Carbon shelled seats trimmed in Nero Leather with
The current owner acquired the car in the early 1990s and it was completely restored during 1993/1994 by DK Engineering. During the restoration, an outside fuel filler cap was fitted of the type used on the Works Le Mans cars. Currently, the car is finished in the traditional colour of British Racing Green, accompanied by a Suede Green leather interior. The car is fitted with a 3.8 Litre engine, C-Type cylinder head and 2" carburettors, mated to the original gearbox. The complete and correct original engine accompanies the car and has been fully overhauled. The history file that comes with the car is both fascinating and detailed, with numerous letters from Jaguar, the original Buff Log Book, period racing photographs and a magazine article featuring the car from 1979. This presents a very exciting and incredibly rare opportunity to acquire a genuine aluminium-bodied XK120 with an illustrious competition history. Having travelled to Asia and back in its life, amassing a great pedigree in the process, this XK120 is a truly special car and forms a significant part of Jaguar's early competition history. Cars such as this do not come around often and DK Engineering are delighted to be
The iconic Ferrari 250 GT SWB, is a true work of automotive art and deserves its place a major part the motorcar hall of fame. The "SWB" or "Passo Corto" was the result of a collaboration between the two great "Carrozzeria" who up until this point had shared claim to Ferraris greatest constructions, in the case of the "Passo Corto" it was to be designed by Pinifarina and constructed by Scaglietti – the result was stunning bodywork regarded as many as simply the ultimate example of "Form Follows Function". Unlike the 250 GT Lusso the "SWB" was very much intended for racing and 45% of the cars were thus bodied in lighter aluminium, the remainder in steel. As a result this model is regarded as the Epitome of the gentlemen driver's racing scene – a car which could be driven to the circuit raced extremely competitively and then driven home. Whilst it would be remiss to talk of the "SWB" and not mention the huge success that this celebrated model had in the greatest International Sports Races of its day, it must also be noted that several other cars never set so much as a tread of tyre onto a Motor circuit. Only 167 cars were manufactured between the years of 1959 and 1962; they all feat
The 250 GT Lusso is widely regarded as one of the most elegant and timeless designs by Pininfarina in their history. Introduced in 1962 the 250 GT Berlinetta Lusso was Ferrari's latest intermediate model, a vehicle to bridge the gap between competition racers and luxuriously appointed 2+2 Coupe's. Just 351 examples were built between 1963 and late 64. This late LHD example, no. 329 of 350 units built was supplied new to German importer Auto Becker in June 1964, specced in Blue Notte over a Nero Hide. The car was sold to its first private owner located in Cologne, Germany shortly after in 1964. The car was initially registered on Italian tourist plates, it wasn't until 1966 that the car was officially 'imported' and registered on regular German license plates. During this ownership the car was serviced and maintained by the Ferrari Factory Assistenza Clienti in Modena, Italy with documents supporting this until 1971. Sometime later the car was exported to France, where it was recorded in 1987 to be owned by a Mr Lafuge located in Paris. In the early period of the 1990's the car was restored, changing colour to a dark metallic grey as documented by pictures in the accompanying histor
The Ferrari Testarossa was first unveiled at the 1984 Paris Auto Show, quickly becoming the poster car of a generation. The design that would rival the Lamborghini Countach was a drastic change from the 512 BB that the car derived from. Not only did Ferrari sway from the smooth lines seen on its prior, they also radically changed the engine from what was formally seen in the BB. It had four-valves per cylinder, Marelli electronic ignition, Bosch K-Jetronic fuel injection, and capable of producing 390 bhp from the 4943 cc horizontally opposed 12 cylinders. The 0 to 60 mph time was an impressive (even by today's standards) time of 5.3 seconds and top speed was over 180 mph. All versions of the Testarossa were rear wheel drive and had a rear-mounted, five-speed manual transmission. The interior also benefited from significant upgrades, mainly revolving around a greater finish and more space for both passengers and luggage, to allow this V12 supercar to also be used on Grand Tours with upmost comfort. This example offered for sale by DK Engineering is an original and early "Monospechio" and "Mono Dado" Testarossa, the collector's preference. This car was first delivered in 1986, and is
The Ferrari 275 was first unveiled at the Paris motor show of 1964 and was hailed as the successor to the legendary Ferrari 250 GT. The car had excellent balance, poise and weight distribution thanks to independent rear suspension and a rear-mounted 5-speed transaxle. In addition, the engine was shifted backwards in order to bring as much weight as possible towards the centre of the car. Ferrari eventually released a redesigned nose for the model, which was longer and aimed to enhance the aerodynamic abilities of the car at high speed. Therefore, only 239 Short Nose examples were produced and their rarity and undoubted stunning looks have made these cars highly collectible and they are now considered the prized assets of many collections. The original form is often regarded as the pure form. The alloy-bodied 275 GTBs are considered by many to be the most desirable variant of the 275 GTB, as they hold a close link to Ferraris competition cars, and they are also one of the rarest, as fewer than 60 road versions were built. This example was manufactured in 1965 by Ferrari and was supplied in the stunning combination of Argento Mettallizzato over a Nero hide interior. The car was first
The condition of the car is superb having covered just 3,800 Miles from new. DK Engineering will complete a full major service prior to the sale. Supplied with its original tools and all books this exceptional Scuderia is located in our showrooms and full UK Registration is in process.
This Challenge Stradale's condition is stellar, we believe the paintwork to all be original (paint depths are consistent with this) and there is hardly a stone chip visible, the interior is spectacular, and the engine bay does not show the usual signs of wear and use which these cars do – without doubt this is one of the finest examples we have seen to date. This car is also accompanied by all of its original equipment, including all books and wallet, Tools and tyre inflator, Ferrari unused Cover, Ferrari Torch, and even the Challenge Stradale T-Shirt and CS Launch book! An unrepeatable example of one of the most highly coveted modern era Ferraris.
The cars condition is truly spectacular, combined with its unrepeatable mileage, RHD specification and stunning originality, this 930 Speedster is ready to be enjoyed by its new owner immediately. Viewings are available at our showroom, which is based just outside London.

In the early 2000's, the car was acquired by a company in Essex in order to undergo another restoration. In 2002 the car returned to the UK and was used sparingly until 2014, when it was completely overhauled and made new once again by the famous Ferrari specialist, Bob Houghton. The car was this time repainted in a spectacular Midnight Metallic Blue, complimented with black leather and accompanying black carpets. As one can imagine this resplendent Ghibli is now presented in outstanding condition and is ready to be used and enjoyed immediately.
This European specification example was delivered to Porsche Centre Leipzig and first registered in May 2004. The car is finished in the classic GT Silver livery, combined with a Tan interior and has air conditioning and a Premium Sound System, which were fitted as optional extras. The car has just returned from Porsche Great Britain, having undergone a no expense spared "engine out" major service which included replacing all four tyres, so is in fine health. During the service it was confirmed that there is plenty of life left in the clutch, with the measurement taken at 29.4mm (a new clutch being 30.4mm). Remarkably, the car has covered just 2,400 miles since new and following the service, where everything on the car was attended to, this is arguably as good a Carrera GT as one could hope to find. This represents a fantastic opportunity to acquire one of the most iconic supercars of the 2000s and with such low mileage, this is a rare example.
This superb LHD example was completed in May 1992 and is finished in its original Polar Silver. The car was sold new to its first owner in Japan on the 19th of February 1993. The original specification in which the car remains is Polar Silver Metallic with Black leatherette interior, Triple-Tone Grey Recaro Bucket Seats, Limited Slip Differential, Airbag and PAS Delete, Controls in English and Red Seatbelts. The car was regularly serviced in Japan and the cars service history is unusually detailed, with 17 Stamps in the book from its 20 years in Japan, this also validates the cars low mileage of just 36,000 kms (22,500 Miles). The car was brought to the UK in 2014 and is UK Registered, in the current owner's tenure the car has been stored at DK Engineering. This 964 RS is presented in stunning and original condition, a clearly unmolested and well cared for example, the car is accompanied by its original books, wallet, spare wheel, and tool kit as well as a Porsche Certificate of Authenticity which confirms the car's engine and gearbox numbers. This rare and collectible Porsche 964 RS is available to view at our showrooms.
Astonishingly the car has covered only 50,175 miles to date, documented by various service invoices, sales agreements, registration listings and a hand written mileage and maintenance journal that are all on file. A sympathetic restoration has recently been completed with the aim to preserve the original structure, retaining as many original components as possible and refurbishing where necessary. Following complete disassembly of the wings, running boards, doors, mudguards, under-wing components and all interior trim, the coachwork was taken to bare metal and refinished in black, the car's original colour, with silver pinstriping. The oxblood red Connolly leather seats have been complimented by completely new Wilton wool carpeting, a refurbished headliner and freshly polished original walnut interior wood accents. The original wheels are fitted with proper color-matched discs and shod with six matching Denman tyres. The car has received over $25,000 in mechanical work by marque experts on the West Coast these works included ane engine overhaul. Matching chassis, engine and body numbers attest to a very original car, beautifully presented and ready for its next proud owner's enjoym
