Chassis Number: 1112 Registration number: BF6193 A rare & eminently useable Edwardian Motor car. This Machine was supplied new to Australia & indeed resided there most of its life. The dash mounted dealer Plaque proclaims that J. Phigarkerly of Hyde Park Sydney were the sole agents for Australia. A massive stem to stern restoration was done on the car about 10 years ago & it has since then seen very little use. The current owner treated it to a full going over costing some £7,000 about a year ago with Vintage car specialists Tattersalls of Halifax for which there are bill son file. The car carries lovely Rois Des Belges style coachwork & is equipped also with a detachable surrey style roof designed more with a view to keeping off the sun rather then the rain we surmise. The engine is a four cylinder unit of some three litres or so & is in rude health having been fully rebuilt. The car trots down the road with alacrity & whilst not being my choice of vehicle for dual carriage ways, it is more then at home on B roads.
