1963-1967 CHEVROLET Corvette Sting Ray C2 specifications

1963-1967 CHEVROLET Corvette Sting Ray C2 specifications Classic and Performance Car

Everything but the engine and gearbox were changed, independent rear suspension and power steering were useful advances and the Corvette now came as a coupé or convertible. More of the latter were sold, and prices are now roughly the same as for coupés. Sting Rays from 1964 are worth around 20% less than quoted, thanks to not having the ‘63 coupés’ split rear window, or the later cars’ disc brakes. From 1965 a ‘big-block’ 6.5-litre V8 was added to the range; these, and fuel-injected cars, attract 30-50% more than quoted.
