1972 BMW 3.0 CSi, S/N 2260962, Polaris Silver with blue velour, 3.0 litre in-line 6 cylinder fuel injected engine with 200hp, 4 speed gear box, 4 wheel disc brakes, alloy wheels, power windows, air conditioning, Blaupunkt radio, delivered new in Milan and more recently in a USA collection, original tools, owner’s manual and jack, extensive two decade USA history file, bare metal repainting in 2000 by Carl Brown’s CB Restorations, very presentable original interior with extra wear on the driver’s seat bolster, fresh major servicing to all systems at Boston Sportscar, a terrific driver quality CSi.
--Silver with Black leather interior and Grey German square weave carpeting, Fully restored, 5-speed. This 3.0 CSI was in long term California ownership. Restored in within the past five years by its enthusiast owner, the engine is European specification with no emissions thus having approximately 20 HP more than its USA equivalent. During the restoration, the 3.0 also received a 5-speed gearbox which makes all the difference when driving these 3.0’s in comparison to the original 4-speed gearbox. Sold to its last owner by CSI Group, California, well-known for their love for these 3.0’s as well as Alpina BMW’s. During its most recent ownership, this 3.0 CSI received Alpina road wheels, Nardi wood steering wheel, Bilstein sports shock absorbers and thicker sport anti-roll bar.
