1955-1959 BENTLEY S1 Saloon specifications

1955-1959 BENTLEY S1 Saloon specifications Classic and Performance Car

As striking as the S1 certainly was, it was also the Rolls-Royce Silver Cloud with different badges. However, gone were the traditional pre-war looks as in came a very sleek integrated body built out of alloy. The six-cylinder engine was now enlarged to 4887cc and improved brakes and front suspension were adopted, followed by a power steering option from 1956. Bentleys outsold their Rolls-Royce counterparts, so these more numerous winged-B models are generally cheaper than their Spirit of Ecstasy counterparts.
