1991 348 tb LHD Finished in Rossa Corsa with Crema hide 14,650 kilometres from new Introduced in 1991 the Ferrari 348 was the final mid-engined V8 model developed by Enzo Ferrari before his death. Featuring a new 3.4 litre version of the normally aspirated quad-cam, four-valve-per-cylinder V8 producing 300BHP. Imported into the UK last year from Italy, prior to which in January 2016 it was fully serviced by Ferrari main agent Cronos SCAR of Ragusa. This included a cam-belt change, attention to the clutch, an overhaul of the air conditioning system and a FOC safety recall on fuel pipes. An unmolested, ultra-low mileage example offered here in the rarer and more desirable berlinetta coupe form. These 348’s are really coming into their own and just look better with every passing year.
1980 450 SEL W116 COMPLETE RESTORATION BY MERCEDES-BENZ CLASSIC CENTRE Finished in anthracite grey metallic with full black leather. Specification includes air conditioning, electric sunroof, front and rear electric windows, mexican-hat alloy wheels, front and rear head rests, Becker Mexico radio. The subject of a three year restoration by Mercedes-Benz Classic Centre in Fellbach, Stuttgart from 2000-2003. A photographic file of this restoration accompanies the vehicle. The quality of craftsmanship is every bit as staggering as one would expect at this level. The interior is quite simply exquisite with almost every inch of the interior trim covered in hand-stiched leather. Originally supplied new in Hong-Kong and first registered on 1st April 1980. In 2003 the restoration was commissioned by a wealthy native businessman and the car was shipped to Stuttgart. Once the restoration was completed the car was returned to Hong-Kong where it remained for nearly 10 years until early 2013 when the car was imported into the UK. Sold new on 17th August 1976 by Garage Selvosa Mercedes Benz of Cannes to a local businessman on the French Riviera. Avantgarde recently purchased this car from the last fastidious owner in Westerheim, Germany who had owned it for a 7 years and spent some 15,000 euros during his ownership on maintenance. Invoices for this expenditure are within the history file, along with all of his fuel receipts which confirm that he only ever filled up with high octane fuel!
