1959-1968 AUSTIN A99/A110 Westminster specifications

1959-1968 AUSTIN A99/A110 Westminster specifications Classic and Performance Car

Pininfarina’s finest BMC moment was the 1959-68 Westminster series; the larger canvas suited the angular lines and resulted in a suitably prestigious machine. A twin-carb C-series engine pumped up to 3-litres coupled with a three-speed transmission allowed stately progress with reasonable haste if pushed. Servo-assisted front disc brakes added to the enjoyment. 1961’s A110 was even better but the ultimate Westminster was the MkII of 1964, which gained four gears for the model’s final four years of production.
