Here are a few of the most interesting vehicles coming up for auction:
2007 Aston Martin V8 Vantage
The design still looks fresh today, and this Aston is in perfect condition having just one previous owner it has only travelled 19,000 miles. The powerful V8 is capable of a top speed of 190mph and 0-60mph in just 4.8 seconds. The Vantage is a sophisticated sports car, which lets you live out your dreams of being James Bond! It has no reserve.
1973 Chevron B36
A 1973 Chevron B36 will be available; this impressive machine is one of only 21 examples built, making it a rare beast indeed. It’s a powerful one too, with an incredibly aerodynamic body and powerful engine. This car was designed to race, and its estimated price reflects both its racing prowess and rarity at £140,000-£160,000.
1951 Jaguar XK120
A 1951 Jaguar XK120 Roadster is also up for sale, a sophisticated car with a crisp red leather interior, which perfectly complements the white paint. This car is in pristine condition, and is as powerful as it is beautiful. The 3.4-litre straight-six engine is easily capable of reaching over 100mph. The Roadster is estimated at £100,000-£120,000.
1919 Buick Model HX-45 Touring
The 1919 Buick model HX-45 seems like excellent value, with an estimate of just £20,000-£24,000. Described as being in ‘very good’ condition, the Buick sure does stand out when compared to almost any other car. A very early example from one of the oldest car companies in the world this 1919 Buick is sure to catch everybody’s attention.
1968 Chevron B8
Another Chevron racer, and the car with the highest estimate in the sale, at £180,000-£220,000. Rare and highly sought after the B8 is a fast and fluid race car, which has been beautifully streamlined. Many would say is better looking than the B36, it’s also the older of the two Chevrons up for sale. Chevron actually saw fit to begin remaking this model in 2006 as a track car, making the original all the more desirable…
1938 Alta Supercharged Voiturette Single Seater
Estimated at £130,000-£150,000 one of the fastest cars of its time the Alta has raced at Brooklands, Crystal Palace, Silverstone and Goodwood. All of its past owners are known and the car is in excellent condition. Not only is this a beautifully put together, and completely original car, but it’s a piece of racing history.
These along with many other unusual and interesting cars will be auctioned on the 11th of July at Chateau Impney.
