car description

The shape of the DB7 was penned by Scottish designer Ian Callum and has been hailed as the best looking British car since the Jaguar E-type. It's as if the stylist has taken the classic Aston shape and smoothed off the sharp edges; the result is very elegant. You expect a great deal for the price of a three-bedroom semi and by and large, there's not much to disappoint you. The leather and walnut-trimmed cockpit is as classy as you would expect, with proper, thick Connolly hide and matching piping. Power comes from a supercharged Jaguar straight six ? but it?s not the normal XJR unit. For the Aston, it was based upon a downsized 3.2, but Tom Walkinshaw employed a thicker block that was used in racing to enable the supercharger to be used at full pelt, producing 335 bhp. The i6 have their own charms ? rarity, super-pure styling and evocative supercharger howl and, 'the DB7 with the ?six?, is more the ?driver?s car? (especially in a manual gearbox) - better than the V12 thanks to a weight distribution. We are privileged to be able to offer this one private owner vehicle from new with extensive history - serviced fully at main dealers up to recently. Above the standard specification on
