At the London Motor Show in October 1960, the DB4GT chassis was offered with elegant, special, lightweight, two-seater bodywork built by Zagato. Nineteen of these cars were made—Chassis numbers DB4GT/0176/R to 0191/R, 0193/R, 0199/L and 0200/R. Chassis numbers 0192, 0196, 1097, 0198 were not used. In 1987, it was decided between Victor Gauntlett and Peter Livanos, the Joint Chairmen of Aston Martin Lagonda Limited, with the agreement of Zagato, to build four remaining Zagato’s with chassis designations 0192, 0196, 0197 and 0198. Recently shown at The Quail A Motorsports Gathering, Carmel, California this past August.
