This beautiful car was sold by this company some 15 years ago following a full 'body-off', very lengthy restoration which lasted from 1989 until 1999. It has been in one family ownership ever since and despite being kept in roadworthy and current Mot/Taxed condition has covered less than 2,000 miles during that period. The history file documents the full extent of the restoration with all the bills retained including more recently a total engine overhaul by Classic Restorations of Scotland costing some £16,000. For many people the first series TD21 remains the purest and most attractive of the breed having the classic single headlamps with twin Lucas spotlamps rather than the stacked headlamp/spotlamp arrangement of the later TE and TF models. The TD21 series was designed by Swiss coachbuilder Graber and the bodies were handbuilt by Park Ward Coachworks alongside Rolls Royce and Bentley models of the period.
