Not for nothing did they give these cars the "Speed" Moniker. The car is extremely fast by 1930's standards & particularly long legged having been fitted with overdrive. The usual superb Alvis gear box is in situ & is an absolute pleasure to use; these gear boxes were state of the art in their day & are far advanced for their time akin to modern boxes.
