1952-1955 ALLARD K3 specifications

Altogether more sophisticated than its earlier relatives, the K3 was Allard’s attempt at appealing to more sophisticated buyers with luxuries such as a one-piece bonnet and wide bench seat that was supposed to accommodate the entire family. This being Allard’s supposedly softer option, Americans were the target. Problem was, Stateside buyers were looking for the exact opposite in their English sports cars, and so the K3’s market failure was disappointing. But it was a pretty car, especially by Allard’s standards.
