1950-1953 ALLARD J2/J2X specifications

The most famous of all the Allard racers and, despite their rarity (just 83 were produced), the most likely to come onto the market. It was the J2X that introduced the new method of construction, which employed small chassis tubes and parallel side members attached together to create the chassis frame. It sounds rudimentary, but the results speak for themselves, with the J2 having a successful racing career on both sides of the Atlantic. Suspension was more sophisticated than the earlier cars’, ensuring excellent handling.
