The Spider was designed by Pininfarina and was an object lesson in Italian style and understatement. It's still great to drive in all forms, and remains in demand today. As with the rest of the family, rust was (and is) a serious factor in its survival rate, and the condition of the bodywork and chassis are of paramount importance. They have few mechanical issues, and just about all the mechanical parts are readily available off-the-shelf, so they're not difficult to run.
