1959-1963 AC Greyhound specifications

1959-1963 AC Greyhound specifications Classic and Performance Car

Stylish and dignified four-seat big brother to the Aceca, also panelled in aluminium and fitted with all the same engine choices, though in reality most ordered used the Bristol straight-six, either in 2.0- or 2.2-litre form. No more than three are thought to have received the Zephyr 2.6. Despite a change to coil springs for independent suspension, handling isn’t a match for the Aceca and, although only a quarter as many were built as the smaller car, they have never set the market alight in the same way and can be bought for about half as much.
