1963-1971 ABARTH 595/595SS/695SS specifications

Carlo Abarth cut his performance car teeth on the rear-engined Fiat 500, producing some of Italy’s finest pocket rockets. Although based on one of the slowest cars you could buy, the Abarth was every inch a Mini Cooper rival during the 1960s, with the bored-out 695 version packing a 40bhp punch. Abarths feature extrovert styling and, on the right road, will give much more powerful cars a real run for their money. Very rare and relatively valuable in the UK, and well worth seeking out if you like your thrills served on the raw side.
